“The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind.  Mountain bikers, housewives, and doctors have found their best fitness from the same regime.”

Cross-Training Program

At CFPC we strive to bring Cross-training to everyone regardless of their age, ability, experience, or fitness level. Our daily workout is broken into Mobility, Skill/Strength, Conditioning, and Recovery/Mobility.

All athletes must complete our Foundations Program or our Cross-training Fitness Program before jumping into our regular Program.

Fitness – Consistency – Performance

We have switched our daily program into 3 tracks – Fitness, Consistency, and Performance. Athletes have the ability to choose a track depending on their goals inside and outside of the gym. Let’s break down each track:

Fitness

This track focuses on the basic gymnastics and barbell movements. Movement is everything and the goal is to create perfect movement pattern which will act as a foundation for the more complicated movements. This track is also for Athletes who are just looking to get a great workout in, have a great time, and be able to come back tomorrow. The current “Fitness Program” will be a class that focuses on this particular track.

Consistency

Moving from the basics to more intermediate movements and strength progressions. The mechanics have been set and it’s time to start adding volume. This track will amp up the intensity to your workout! The weights will be heavier and the skills will be more difficult.

Performance

This track will test your limits. Your skills and power will be tested regularly. This track is designed for those with a passion for competing, and for those who want to leave it all out on the floor day after day. This track will not be for everyone – and that’s okay! You may step into this track when you’re gearing up for a competition and then step back into Consistency during the “off season”.
