The Open is here!!!

This year The Open started on October 10, 2019 with the release of 20.1. We are doing our usual Friday Night Lights from 5pm-7pm every Friday for 5 weeks. We are doing Teams & Weekly Challenges! Each released workout will have a Fitness, Consistent, and Performance workout available; and can be scaled back to every athlete’s ability so everyone can participate!

We encourage bringing Friends & Family members to help cheer everyone on!

How the Points Work

Each team will accrue points throughout the 5 weeks of The Open. You will earn 2 points for our team for doing the workout at our Friday Night Lights (every Friday from 5pm-7pm); you will earn 1 point for your team if you could not make the Friday Night Lights but still did the workout before 6:00pm the following Monday. You will also earn 1 point for your team for participating in the weekly Challenge.

If you can’t make a Friday in that 5 week span – don’t worry, you can always do the workout on the Saturday – Monday afterwards!

BEER FUND – We have a beer fund set up so everyone can contribute to the beer we all enjoy after a gruelling Open workout! Don’t drink beer? We encourage you to feel free to bring whatever you would like to enjoy after almost dying!! (You are more than welcome to store it in the fridge inside the office.)

Weekly Challenges

Week 1 (October 11, 2019)

Each week we will announce a Weekly Challenge that you can participate in to help earn your team points! Last week’s challenge was bringing a non-perishable food item to donate to the food bank. You have until 6pm on Monday, October 14th, 2019 to get your item into the box to earn your team a point!

Week 2 (October 18, 2019)

This weeks challenge is to wear something Canadian. Let’s see your best patriotism. YOU HAVE TO WEAR IT DURING YOUR WORKOUT TO RECEIVE THE POINT!

Week 3 (October 25, 2019)

You have to do a Social Media post about CFPC/The Open. Use #cfpc4life – can be anything – picture, quote, meme, etc.

Week 4 (November 1, 2019)

Wear a Halloween Costume! YOU MUST WEAR THE COSTUME WHILE DOING YOUR WORKOUT TO RECEIVE THE POINT!

Week 5 (November 8, 2019)

Bring a potluck food item for the wrap up party which will happen right after the Friday Night Lights for 20.5. Everyone is welcome to come to the potluck, even if you didn’t participate in The Open this year!


THANKSGIVING WITH THE GIRLS

There will only be one class at 9:00am on Monday, October 14th, 2019. We encourage everyone to come out and get their sweat on!


Merchandise Alert!!

We are putting in a new t-shirt order! $35 each. They are American Apparel brand – super soft and comfy! Ladies have 4 colors to choose from, Men have 5 (don’t ask me why!). Fill out an order form at the gym BEFORE THIS FRIDAY, October 18th, 2019!


SAVE THE DATE – CFPC CHRISTMAS PARTY

We will have our annual Christmas Party on Saturday, December 7th, 2019!! More details to come!


Our Programs – Fall 2019

  • Cross-train Program – Our main program; offered 6x a week.
  • Cross-train Fitness Program – This is a great class to suggest to anyone interested in Cross-training as it gives them a taste of what we do without any super technical movements. Monday & Wednesday @ 9:00 am and Tuesday & Thursday @ 6:30pm.
  • Legends Program – Our Legends Program is for ages 60+ to gain Strength and Mobility to make day to day life easier. This program is Tuesday’s & Thursday’s at 2pm.
  • Teens Strength & Conditioning – This class is designed for Teenagers to Gain Strength, Power, Speed, Agility, Balance and Coordination! Monday’s @ 4:30pm
  • Personal Training Session – Have a specific goal you want to work on? A Personal Training Session is a fantastic way to have a coach help you out one-on-one to give you those tips and tricks you need to get to the next level.
  • Personal Programming & Personal Training – For those athletes with special circumstances (such as injuries, disabilities, etc.) or those looking to spend extra time improving on deficiencies. Can be taken on it’s own or paired with our regular Program.
  • Nutrition Coaching – One-on-one coaching to help you achieve your ideal body composition and performance goals
